Uses in perfumery: Provides Aldehydic facet in green, chypre, rose, floral-violet, tuberose notes. Smell is greener and less zesty-lemon than Aldehyde C11 Undecylic. Aldehydes C12 are more orange and less butyric. C8 is less green.
Natural availability: Present in trace amounts in Coriander Leaf Essential Oil but is not extracted in its natural state.
