Fixative 505

Fixative 505 may not seem very impressive at first when undiluted. When diluted or incorporated in a compound it displays a much stronger and truer representation of Ambergris with its animal-like character than does Ambroxan for example. Exceptionally powerful delicately dry woody-earthy-ambergris extremely tenacious odor. Some find it has a fir-conifer, pine cone nuance too.

The odour and uses of Fixative 505

Odor – Its odor is not very impressive at first, but when undiluted, carefully incorporated, and well mellowed in a composition, it shows its exceptionally powerful yet delicately dry woody-Ambergris-like, extremely tenacious odor.

Perfume Uses – Ambergris, Fir-Conifer, Woody-Brends, Fixative-Effect, Oriental-Types, Topnotes, Floral-Types,Pear, Rice.
