Perfume Uses : Isobutavan is much less discolourising than vanillin or ethyl vanillin and can be used at levels up to 2pc in for example white soap fragrances before discolouration is a problem. It is less powdery than vanillin and has a creamier thickening effect. Can be used in fragrances, especially in white soap applications where discoloration might occur.
