• Learn basic soap formulation
• Distinguish the difference between natural & commercial soaps
• Learn safety procedures
• Using natural actives and colorants
• Customize soaps based on skin condition

• Mini soap loaf mold
• Face mask
• Protective goggles
• Disposable gloves
• Apron
• Use of stick blender

HANDS-ON ACTIVITY

• Make your own cold process soap

Other information you might want to know

  • The class will be easy going but a maximum of 5 participants only.
  • Take home a Soaping Manual, Formulation Journal and your very own Soap.
  • Workshop will be conducted by the Mary Pilares: a mother to 2 girls and 2 boys. She used to work as a sommelier in New York City where she also first learned how to make soaps as a hobbyist. After moving back to Manila, she started a home-based business making eco-friendly natural soaps. She is currently studying at Formula Botanica UK for Advanced Diploma on Cosmetics Science.

General Policy on Refund & Cancellations

If you pay the class fee in advance and cancel 5 or more days before class, you may transfer the full amount of your payment towards a future class.

If you cancel less than 5 days before class, you forfeit the full amount paid. Please note that we order food and prepare materials in advance.

You may send someone in your place or you can opt to receive the handouts and kit via mail (you will shoulder the shipping fee).

Can you accommodate pregnant women?

We highly discourage women who are pregnant from joining the classes, regardless of how far you are along in your term. We smell potent materials during class and may cause nausea and worse, can cause contractions.
